Ajith’s film is rock steady, nears the Rs 90 crore mark

Good Bad Ugly is Ajith Kumar’s new film that hit the screens on April 10, 2025. We at OTTplay have already reported that the action drama made Rs 28.5 crore on day one of its release in India. Well, the Adhik Ravichandran film saw a slight drop in the collections and made only Rs 15 crore. But as the weekend kicked in, Good Bad Ugly made Rs 20 crore on day three. Thanks to the long weekend, the film wowed the hardcore fans and made Rs 20 crore on day three.

Everyone was eager to see how much Good Bad Ugly would make this Sunday, and the film passed with flying colors as it made Rs 22 crore on the fourth day of its release. With this, the total film collections stand at Rs 86 crore.

The Nerkonda Paarvai star’s film has impressed hardcore fans, and they are the ones who are thronging the theaters in big numbers. Mythri Movie Makers have produced the film on a massive scale, and this is their debut in Tamil. They promoted the film on a massive scale, and this resulted in decent openings.

Netflix has bagged the digital rights to the film and will stream the action drama in the second week of May 2025. Good Bad Ugly was also released in Telugu, but the response has been dull as the film made only Rs 4.2 crore in its first few days. Once the weekdays start, the actual box office test will begin.
