Akon, who gave us ‘Chammak Challo’, is coming back to India for a 3-city tour

Akon India tour: Get ready to groove, India! Popular international singer Akon is coming back to the country for a musical tour that promises fun, nostalgia, and unforgettable memories.

The Grammy-nominated artist, known for hit songs like ‘Smack That’, ‘Lonely’, and ‘Right Now (Na Na Na)’, will be performing in three major Indian cities this November. He will perform in Delhi on November 9, Bengaluru on November 14, and Mumbai on November 16.

Akon is clearly thrilled to return. In a statement, he shared his love for India, saying, “India has always shown me so much love. It feels like a second home. The energy, the culture, the fans… it’s on another level. I can’t wait to be back and perform live. This tour is going to be something really special. Let’s make history together!”

Fans of Akon will remember his last visit to India when he performed during the lavish pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. That night turned into a star-studded party.

One of the most talked-about moments was when Akon sang ‘Chammak Challo’, his popular Hindi track from Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Ra.One’. His performance got both Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan dancing on stage.

Akon later shared a clip of the event on Instagram with the caption, “Best pre-wedding party of the year. Got to bring my whole Indian family on stage to perform my biggest record in India.”

The video also showed Shah Rukh Khan hugging his daughter Suhana, with wife Gauri standing beside him, while Salman Khan played the drums, adding to the magic of the night.

Speaking about the upcoming tour, Aman Kumar, co-founder of White Fox, the company bringing Akon to India, said, “Bringing Akon back is a celebration. This is the night fans have been waiting for. We promise a grand experience that will be remembered for years.”
