Alan Walker Returns to India, Set to Rock Bhubaneswar and Jaipur This Weekend
International music sensation Alan Walker has made a quick return to India, just six months after his multi-city tour in October last year.
The Norwegian DJ and producer kicked off his latest India tour with a performance in Guwahati, and is all set to take over Hyderabad tonight, followed by Bhubaneswar and Jaipur on April 19 and 20.
“It was my first time in Guwahati, and I’m so excited about tonight’s gig. I’m especially looking forward to experiencing the vibe in Bhubaneswar and Jaipur — every city in India has its own unique energy,” said Walker.
While most international artists take a longer break before returning to the same country, Walker’s comeback in just half a year is rare. The reason? His deep admiration for India and its people.
“The energy from Indian audiences is magical. There’s something special about the people, culture, food, and music here. It’s impossible not to fall in love with India,” he shared.
Alan also praised the fast-evolving Indian music industry, which he believes is now gaining global recognition.
“The music scene in India has grown rapidly over the past decade. The response is overwhelming, and it’s amazing to see massive crowds turn up for shows. It’s only going to get bigger from here,” he added.
During his previous tour, Walker brought Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Kartik Aaryan on stage for surprise appearances, hinting at his strong connection with the Indian entertainment industry.
Teasing future collaborations, Walker hinted at some exciting partnerships on the way and expressed his interest in Bollywood.
“I’m open to working on a Bollywood project if the creative fit is right. I’m fascinated by Bollywood, and while acting might not be in the cards, I’d love to produce music for a film someday,” he said.
