Alia Bhatt, Already A Loyalist Of The Designer, Signs On As The First Indian Global Ambassador For Gucci
It has been quite a year for Alia Bhatt in just a couple of months. After her successful debut at the Met Gala 2023 in a Prabal Gurung pearl-embedded gown, the actress has now been announced as the first global ambassador from India for the Italian luxury brand Gucci. Following her cinematic performances, the star is now making her way in the fashion space too. While Deepika Padukone, a Louis Vuitton ambassador and Priyanka Chopra, the face of Bulgari, have been on the international radar for quite some time now, Alia is making strides. From RRR being nominated for Golden Globes, which was a film she appeared in to acting in Heart Of Stone with Gal Gadot, she is climbing the Hollywood ladder.
The brand posted on their social media as they announced Alia Bhatt as the ambassador. They posted, ” Alia Bhatt is the House’s newest Global Brand Ambassador. To mark the occasion, the actress, producer, and entrepreneur was captured with the Gucci Bamboo 1947 bag.”
The actress too took to her Instagram to express her gratitude and happiness. She captioned her picture as, “I’m honored to represent the house of Gucci not only in India but at a global stage. Gucci’s legacy has always inspired and intrigued me and I’m looking forward to the many sartorial milestones we create together.”
Alia will make her first appearance as the brand ambassador for Gucci’s upcoming Cruise 2024 fashion show in Seoul, at Gyeongbokgung Palace, on May 16, 2023. Alia is another remarkable face to mark the territory on a global scale after Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone. The star has been previously seen donning Gucci in her clothing and accessory choices. Was it a hint for the collaboration all along? We should have seen it coming.
Her recent look was all about red carpet supremacy as she looked chic in Gucci. She opted for a tailored fit that came with a checkered pattern, paired with a clean powder blue shirt.
Even her maternity style was complete in a pink Gucci dress. She opted for a chiffon ruffle dress from Gucci, which came in a frothy pink shade. She paired the look with a sleeveless waistcoat over the dress and under it, went with black trousers.
