Alvarez & Marsal hires Patrick Daoust as managing director in Montreal

Alvarez & Marsal, a New York-headquartered management consulting firm, has hired Patrick Daoust as a managing director in its transaction advisory group (TAG) in Montreal.

Daoust brings nearly 25 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions marketplace, specializing in operational due diligence and performance improvement advisory services for private equity and corporate transactions in Canada and the US.

He has industry expertise across aerospace, industrials, business services, and consumer products.

Daoust joins A&M from Roland Berger, where he was a partner. Before that, he was a partner at Oliver Wyman and Accenture.

He began his consulting career at Deloitte, where he was a senior manager.

Daoust has a professional engineer’s degree from Polytechnique Montréal.
