AMBER ALERT canceled for Dior Gooch

5:39 p.m. UPDATE: Columbia Heights Police have canceled the alert for Dior Gooch. The Minnesota BCA said both Dior and Ashley Gooch have been located safe in Minneapolis.

Authorities thank everyone who helped to find the two and for sharing information.

(KEYC) – The Columbia Heights Police Department is attempting to locate an abducted child, Dior Gooch, 3-weeks old.

The child was taken from the guardian’s home by Ashley Marie Gooch, age 37, after threatening violence towards the guardian.

Ashley Gooch was last seen August 6, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. on foot, pushing a stroller with Dior Gooch and headed west bound on 37th Ave at University Ave, Columbia Heights, MN.

Ashley Gooch is described as a black female, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 158 pounds with brown hair with a pink braid. She was last seen wearing an orange and white sundress with a black backpack.
