Antigua and Barbuda Among 1,800 Attending the AfriCaribbean Trade and Investment Forum in Grenada – Antigua News
The initiative aims to address the current challenge of trade between Africa and the Caribbean, which accounts for less than 1% of total exports between the two regions.
Past editions of the forum have shown promising results, with strong potential for growth in trade and investment opportunities.
Recent reports from the International Trade Centre indicate that trade between Africa and the Caribbean could reach upwards of US$2.1 billion in the coming years, particularly in sectors such as minerals, machinery, and processed foods.
The 2025 edition of ACTIF is scheduled for 28–29 July in St. George’s, Grenada, with a focus on resilience and transformation amidst global uncertainties.
As more delegates converge in Grenada for this year’s forum, attendees can expect productive discussions, high-level engagements, and opportunities to explore investment prospects in key sectors.
With the participation of business leaders, diplomats, and representatives from various international organizations, ACTIF promises to be a pivotal event for fostering economic growth and promoting a unified approach towards prosperity in both Africa and the Caribbean.
