Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande brought a magical aura to CinemaCon 2025 on Wednesday in Las Vegas. The two Oscar-nominated stars were on hand for one of their first promotional engagements for their forthcoming film “Wicked: For Good,” the 2025 second act of the Oscar-nominated 2024 film adaptation of “Wicked.”
Erivo looked to the runway for inspiration for her attire. The Tony Award winner opted for a look courtesy of Alaïa’s spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection. The ensemble featured a pair of black, wide-leg pants and a coordinated blouse with a plunging neckline.

Both garments featured a flowing silhouette, with a slight peplum element at the waist. The centerpiece of the look, however, was the hood attached to the sheer blouse, which also featured a long gold band of fabric that framed Erivo’s visage and added sartorial tension to the overall look. Erivo accessorized her attire with pieces of gold jewelry. The actress’ look was curated by stylist Jason Bolden.
As for Grande, the actress and “Positions” singer opted for a strapless minidress courtesy of Emporio Armani. The frock featured a formfitting bodice with a flouncy skirt, featuring a tiered design of voluminous fabric.

Grande paired the dress with pointed-toe black heels and added pieces of dainty silver jewelry, including a delicate shimmering necklace. Her hair was styled in a tight chignon with soft makeup. Stylist Mimi Cuttrell curated Grande’s look.
The two looks Grande and Erivo styled for the 2025 edition of CinemaCon presented a stark contrast to their method dressing during the 2024 promotional tour of “Wicked.” Through the press tour, both Grande and Erivo styled looks inspired by their “Wicked” characters, with Grande wearing feminine, often pink, looks by Thom Browne, Vivienne Westwood and Bode and Erivo in edgier attire by Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton and Versace, among others.
