Ariana Greenblatt has grown up in front of the camera, and her red carpet wardrobe has evolved alongside her acting career. After becoming known through Disney’s Stuck in the Middle, the young actor moved into films including In the Heights, Barbie and Borderlands. Her fashion choices have followed a similar progression, moving from playful dresses during her childhood years toward increasingly sophisticated combinations of tailoring, dramatic gowns and experimental details.
Some of Greenblatt’s earliest appearances already demonstrated an interest in fashion. At the 2017 premiere of A Bad Moms Christmas, she wore an elegant black dress, while The Nutcracker and the Four Realms premiere the following year brought a softer floral look with pink tones. For Mary Poppins Returns, she continued the youthful approach in powder blue tulle.
By 2023, Greenblatt’s wardrobe had become considerably more adventurous. She attended an ELLE Hollywood Rising event in a red Ralph Lauren dress, embracing a bold shade that has appeared repeatedly in her style. For a Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 event, she chose a white Victoria Beckham midi dress and added contrasting black gloves, giving the otherwise understated outfit a sharper finish.
Barbie provided an ideal opportunity for something more theatrical. At the Los Angeles premiere, Greenblatt wore a Yogie Pratama creation combining a pale pink bodice with black floral detailing and a sheer skirt extending into a train. The look reflected the playful visual world surrounding the movie while maintaining her own preference for dramatic contrasts.
Her appearances in 2024 showed an increasingly varied approach to formal dressing. At the Golden Globe Awards, Greenblatt stepped away from the conventional gown in a white Saint Laurent tuxedo. She followed it with a Louis Vuitton look at the Critics Choice Awards, combining a structured leather bodice with a flowing white skirt.
For the Screen Actors Guild Awards, she returned to classic evening glamour in a strapless velvet Vera Wang gown. Later, while promoting Borderlands at CinemaCon, Greenblatt changed direction again with a collared sleeveless mini dress from Shushu Tong, styled with tights for a youthful and streamlined appearance.
What makes Greenblatt’s developing style interesting is her willingness to move between different fashion personalities. She can embrace romantic tulle, sharp tailoring, dramatic red carpet gowns or playful mini dresses without settling into one formula. Still early in both her acting and fashion journey, Greenblatt is already showing that experimentation can be the most recognizable signature of all.
