Armenia`s Ministry of Territorial Administration, World Bank  representatives sum up “Social Investment and Local Development”  program 

ArmInfo. Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia Vardan 
Kostanyan held meetings with representatives of the World Bank Narine Tadevosyan, Irina Tevosyan and Vahan Danielyan to summarize the results of the “Social Investments and Local Development” program, 
which is nearing completion.


As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Governance of 
Armenia, this program  aimed to improve the quality and accessibility 
of community and inter-community infrastructure. It specifically 
focused on major repairs of medical and educational institutions, 
cultural facilities, schools, kindergartens, water pipes and other 
infrastructure in the communities of Armenia.  The Ministry also 
reported that in connection with the completion of the program, a 
special event and panel discussion are planned.  During the event, 
the parties will present the results of their work and discuss 
prospects for cooperation within the framework of other programs.
