Arvind Fashions appoints former Levi’s marketing head as Chief Brand & Strategy Officer
Arvind Fashions has announced the appointment of Saikot Das as Chief Brand & Strategy Officer. The appointment reflects the company’s focus on deepening consumer interaction and building strength in its portfolio of top Indian and international brands. As Chief Brand & Strategy Officer, Das will be responsible for leading brand strategy, customer interactions, and growth initiatives in its fashion and lifestyle businesses.

His rich cross-industry experience, multi-functional strengths, and consumer expertise will play a key role in fueling their next phase of growth. With over 20 years of experience in fashion, retail, FMCG, and media, Das offers a high degree of strategic adaptability and brand-building acumen. Known for promoting consumer-driven growth, he has repeatedly achieved significant results across brand positioning, storytelling, and market development—abilities that will be crucial as Arvind Fashions goes through the digital-first, competitive retail landscape.
Most recently, Das served as Senior Director – Marketing & Brand Experience at Levi Strauss & Co., where he oversaw marketing across South Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Turkey, and Eastern Europe. His leadership saw collaborations with icons like Deepika Padukone and Diljit Dosanjh, along with partnerships such as Lollapalooza and the Dilluminati Tour, which transformed Levi’s from a denim-centric brand into a lifestyle symbol.
Earlier during his tenure, Das spent more than a decade at Colgate-Palmolive, where he served in varied roles across category and brand management, customer marketing, and commercial operations. He was instrumental in portfolio strategy, led Colgate’s pioneer foray into e-commerce, and drove massive-scale sales force digitisation, heavily enhancing customer interaction and retail execution.
His career also involved leadership at Olam International in Africa, where he held full P&L responsibilities, gaining hands-on experience in world-wide supply chains, commodity trading, and risk management. At Star TV (Disney India), he helped drive prime-time leadership by defining data-driven content and marketing plans that drove channel expansion.
With Das leading brand and strategy, Arvind Fashions is poised to deepen consumer affinity, expand its market coverage, and strengthen its leadership in India’s rapidly changing fashion and lifestyle industry.
