Mahavatar Narshima has now entered the Rs 220-crore club in just 29 days. It started with a massive first-week collection of Rs 44.75 crore. In its second and third weeks, it raked in Rs 73.4 crore and Rs 70 crore respectively. By the fourth week, the film slowed at box office, earning Rs 30.25 crore. But thanks to Friday’s earnings, the film in total now stands at an impressive amount of Rs 220.75 crore.

The theatre occupancy has registered a visible decline. On August 22, Friday, the Telugu version of the film had 15.18% occupancy, while the Hindi shows fared poorly with only 9.45%. This decline shows that the initial buzz may be dying down.
