Bookings have been strong at the Ayr cinema for the film’s opening weekend, with movie-lovers urged to book their tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.
A spokesperson said: “Team Astoria are very much looking forward to welcoming you all this weekend for A Minecraft Movie.
“We have almost reached full capacity for our afternoon and evening performances on Friday.
“We hope that you will enjoy your visit with us.”
Movie-goers are also being reminded that they should not bring food and drink purchased outside of the cinema into the building.
