Ayushmann Khurrana Fronts Mangrove Regeneration Campaign in India

This year, World Mangrove Day marked its 10th anniversary, and Signature Packaged Drinking Water commemorated the occasion with the launch of a 360 campaign featuring brand ambassador Ayushmann Khurrana.

At the center of the campaign is a film titled The Mangroves Regeneration Pledge, which pays tribute to India’s coastal ecosystems and the communities working to protect them. Narrated by Khurrana and driven by immersive visuals, the film highlights the challenges of climate change, grassroots conservation, and ecological resilience.

The campaign focuses on Signature Packaged Drinking Water’s Mangrove Regeneration Project in Odisha—a three-year, community-led initiative along the state’s eastern coast. The project is restoring over 62 acres of degraded land, planting more than 30,000 mangrove saplings, and supporting five coastal villages in long-term conservation.

Known to absorb up to four times more carbon dioxide than rainforests, mangroves are essential to fighting climate change and preserving biodiversity.
