Banyan Tree is set to present the 18th edition of Teen Prahar, a unique Indian classical music experience, at Chowdiah Memorial Hall on February 27, 2025.

Conceived by Banyan Tree Events in 2006, Teen Prahar was designed to offer music lovers across India a rare treat—showcasing unheard Raagas performed at different time zones of the day. Unlike other festivals, Teen Prahar brings together artists from three distinct stages of their musical journey—emerging talent, maestros-in-the-making, and legendary masters—on the same platform.

Over the past 17 years, the festival has received overwhelming responses in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Kolkata, evolving into one of the most anticipated Indian classical music festivals. Recognized as an initiative in the promotion and preservation of India’s rich performing arts heritage, Teen Prahar continues to captivate audiences year after year.

The 2025 edition will commence with a spirited performance by young artists from the Shishya’s Collective Ensemble, an initiative dedicated to nurturing emerging talent. This will be followed by two renowned maestros—Ustad Shujaat Khan, who will mesmerize the audience with his scintillating sitar recital, and Pandit Venkatesh Kumar, whose soul-stirring Hindustani vocal performance will transport listeners to a world of divinity.

Over the years, Teen Prahar has also garnered support from corporate partners committed to preserving and promoting India’s cultural legacy. As the festival enters its 18th year, the Bengaluru edition promises an unforgettable evening of timeless melodies, masterful artistry, and an immersive classical music experience.
