Ben Affleck makes bombshell claim about Hollywood film industry

Ben Affleck shares harsh reality of current time in Hollywood industry

Ben Affleck has given rare insight into the changes that are happening in the Hollywood industry.

The Batman star, who is currently busy with his new movie The Accountant 2, touched upon the ‘migration’ of film and TV production from Los Angeles, California to other places.

During an interview with Associated Press on the red carpet of the action thriller film, Jennifer Lopez’s ex revealed that the reason for the move is because other states and countries offer them something better than California: tax incentive.

The Gone Girl alum also shared the harsh reality, related to California, ‘…they came to take this industry for granted a little bit’.

Matt Damon’s close friend elaborated that though California Governor Gavin Newsom had plans to increase the cap on tax incentives to keep production houses there, but the 52-year-old believes this act ‘alone’ wouldn’t help.

Jennifer Garner’s ex compares the tax incentive offered locally with that given by UK, Georgia, New Mexico, Louisiana, Texas, Massachusetts and New Jersey – the difference is wide.

For the unversed, this news comes as Jennifer Lopez is spotted filming her rom-com Office Romance.

Daily Mail, however, reported that the On The Floor singer appeared stressed as her twins were spending time with their father in LA.
