Spring has sprung and with it comes the chance to grab some fabulous fashion finds in the seasonal sales. Retailers from M&S to Next are slashing prices, but it’s Boden that’s really caught our eye.

After the boho revival we had at the end of the last year and suede taking over our high streets, it’s no surprise that Boden’s Iris Snaffle Clogs is what grabbed our attention. As soon as we spotted them on the site, we couldn’t believe how much they look like Gucci’s no longer stocked suede clogs, and the best part is that they are currently reduced by a huge £75.

Originally £115, they are now under £50 at £40.25. Made from soft, responsibly sourced leather and set on a wooden platform sole, these sturdy shoes are built to last.

The ’70s, boho vibe is really in at the moment, and these clogs fall perfectly into that trend. One of the best thing about these shoes is their versatility and how well they pair with almost everything. To style them, we recommend leaning into the retro look and teaming with a pair of ’70 style wide-leg jeans and a brown suede jacket.

A common denominator with wooden shoes and clogs is how uncomfortable they can be. However, that is not the case with these Boden ones, as almost every review praises their comfortability. One happy shopper wrote: “These clogs are excellent, so comfortable, great with Jeans or smart trousers. The leather is lovely and soft. I’m very pleased.”

A second shopper added: “AWESOME – take me back to my childhood in Germany wearing them whilst shopping. Super comfortable and LOOVVEE the wooden clicking sound whilst walking”.

If you’re not a fan of being the centre of attention, these clogs may not be for you. A few shoppers criticised the loud noise they make when wearing. One shopper said: “I LOVE the look of these clogs but sadly had to return. They are much louder than other clogs I own.”
