Buffalo Music Hall of Fame announces Class of 2025

World renowned musicians, songwriters, executives and even a kazoo factory are among the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame’s Class of 2025 inductees. 

The Buffalo Music Hall of Fame Class of 2025 includes:

  • The Balkan Serenaders – traditional folk and world music act established in 1948
  • Bob Burwell – music industry executive who has worked with Kenny Rogers, Dwight Yoakam, Billy Joel and more
  • The El Tempos – vocal R&B and doo-wop group from Lackawanna
  • Jim Beishline – pianist and arranger who has performed with Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters, Aretha Franklin and more
  • Johnny Soul – local Blues legend who has performed for more than 55 years
  • John Bryans – drummer with more than five decades of performing with local and national recording musicians
  • Tina Parol – singer, songwriter and producer who has written songs for Britney Spears, Celine Dion, Sabrina Carpenter and Lady A
  • Larry Covelli – jazz saxophonist who has performed with John Williams, Quincy Jones, Henry Mancini and more
  • Michelle Thomas – musician and choir director
  • Buffalo Philharmonic Choir – Grammy winners (Best Choral Performance) for their recording of Richard Danielpour’s “The Passion of Yeshua,” with the BPO and Music Director JoAnn Falletta
  • The Original Kazoo Factory – Eden landmark that stands as the only metal kazoo factory in the world

All 11 inductees will be inducted during the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at Samuel’s Grande Manor on October 8, followed by a live concert on October 9 at The Cove Seafood & Banquets.
