Celtic kits among Athletic Bilbao fans during Rangers clash

Photos captured green and white hoops amidst the sea of red and white at the San Mamés Stadium.

A Celtic kit, circa 2007 with the Carling sponsor, was even spotted in the stand where Nico Williams netted the decisive goal.

A Scotland flag and Irish tricouleurs were also visible.

This comes after Athletic Bilbao supporters, who were in Glasgow for the first leg at Ibrox, attended Celtic Park to watch the 5-1 victory over Kilmarnock.

They were seen sporting Celtic colours during this visit.

Interestingly, this display of Celtic allegiance follows closely on the heels of similar sightings at Villa Park, where Celtic colours were seen among visiting PSG fans during their Champions League fixture.

This adds a fresh twist to the already intense Glasgow football rivalry.
