China’s 7th batch of emergency humanitarian aid arrives in Myanmar

Arrival of the humanitarian aids from China at Yangon International Airport.
For the Mandalay earthquake-stricken areas, emergency humanitarian aid in the 7th batch dispatched by China arrived at Yangon International Airport yesterday.
A cargo flight of Air China airlines carrying 6,030 boxes of medications weighing 93,235 kilogrammes arrived at the airport. The shipment was welcomed by Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, regional ministers, officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Health and Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, Mr Ouyang Daobing, Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy to Myanmar, along with other embassy staff.
Tatmadaw members, Yangon City Development Committee staff and local freight workers loaded the relief items onto vehicles. Under the supervision of the Yangon Region government, the supplies were sent to Nay Pyi Taw to be delivered to the earthquake-affected areas. — MNA/KZL
