Chloë Sevigny’s Cool Girl Bomber Brings on the Sunshine in NYC

Even Chloë Sevigny isn’t ready to pack her trusty statement outerwear pieces into storage just yet.

While attending a Q&A for her latest film, Magic Farm, at the Angelika Film Center, the actor brought a splash of sunny energy to a rainy Saturday night in New York City.

Sporting an oversized cream and dandelion yellow leather bomber jacket, Sevigny’s chic movie theater outfit included a flouncy white mini skirt and a pair of matching pointed-toe ruched pumps from Louis Vuitton. A brighter, more spring-forward twist to her usual go-to dark-toned leather pieces.

For her purse, she held a gray Louis Vuitton LV Biker bag with boxy black handles and gold hardware.

While her outfit was anything but casual (well, perhaps not by Sevigny’s standards) she kept her glam refreshingly simple, opting for a subtle red lip and fluttery mascara.

Her blonde hair was similarly styled, with a few soft waves that gave her an almost undone feel without being messy. It served as the perfect balance for a laid-back yet fashionable night out.

Sevigny’s styling ethos has always been about pairing together pieces that feel unexpected and fresh.

While attending a screening of her film at the Roxy Hotel earlier this week, Sevigny stepped out in a black bodysuit, covering up with a black-and-gold printed silk scarf from Vaquera tied around her waist.

The accessory was styled to mimic the flowing look of a maxi skirt—just in a way more interesting format. She finished off the outfit with a clashing patterned cropped red-and-black striped windbreaker that brought maximalist fun center stage.
