Chrome Autofill Might Help You Claim Various Credit Card Benefits

A credit card can be one of the most rewarding payment methods if used correctly. However, being a multiple cardholder, it becomes very hard to keep track of the benefits of each card and use them wherever necessary. Well, to solve this problem, Google has now added a new feature in the Chrome autofill that will help you to claim the benefits of your credit cards.

Chrome autofill now supports more banks and can help you avail credit card benefits quickly

Google had last year added a new feature in the Chrome autofill that helps its users avail unnoticed credit card benefits. It does so by showing the card benefits, such as cashback or an additional discount, right next to the payment option. This helps the user to avail the best card benefit on the particular transaction.

However, the feature previously had limited compatibility, with only American Express and Capital One cards being officially supported. But the desktop and mobile app now support over 100 credit cards in the US.

It gets a buy now, pay later option on the checkout page

The Chrome autofill now supports a larger buy now, pay later network. Users can use buy now, pay later options from Affirm and Zip, Klarna, Afterpay, and other providers. The BNPL transaction can be made after clicking on the “Pay over time options.” The option is present right below the credit card section. It is available for all transactions with an order value of $35 or more.

In addition to this, Google Search now gets direct support for international transactions (via Google Wallet). For example, if you search for the USD INR rate on the search and scroll down a bit on the front page, the search engine will show you an option to transfer funds with the current exchange rate. It uses the network of remittance providers like Ria Money Transfer, Xe, and Wise. As of right now, one can send the funds from the US to India, Brazil, Mexico, and the Philippines.
