Coal India’s provisional February 2025 coal production falls 0.8% YoY to 74.1 MT, Offtake drops 4.8%

Coal India Limited (CIL) reported a 0.8% year-on-year (YoY) decline in coal production for February 2025, reaching 74.1 million tonnes (MT) compared to 74.8 MT in the same period last year. Meanwhile, coal offtake in February dropped 4.8% YoY, standing at 62.1 MT versus 65.3 MT in February 2024.
