Computex 2025: AMD launches new Radeon GPUs, Ryzen Threadripper processors | Gaming News

AMD unveiled high-performance Radeon RX 9060 XT and Radeon AI Pro R9700 GPUs alongside Ryzen Threadripper 9000 series processors at Computex 2025. These products will power new devices from Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Asus, available from July 2025.

New Delhi: AMD announced new high-performance computing products at Computex 2025, with the launch of the Radeon RX 9060 XT and Radeon AI Pro R9700 graphic cards, along with Ryzen Threadripper 9000 series processors. This fresh silicon is targeted squarely at gamers, content creators and AI developers, with the cutting-edge performance necessary for tackling heavy, industrial workloads. Both the Radeon RX 9060 XT and Radeon AI Pro R9700 GPUs are built on the RDNA 4 architecture. The AI Pro graphics cards are designed for on-device AI capabilities, made for complex creative workloads, model finetuning and scalability with multi-GPU systems.
Senior vice president and general manager of the Computing and Graphics Group at AMD, Jack Huynh said, “These announcements underscore our commitment to continue delivering industry-leading innovation across our product portfolio. The Radeon RX 9060 XT and Radeon AI PRO R9700 bring the performance and AI capabilities of RDNA 4 to workstations and gamers all around the world, while our new Ryzen Threadripper 9000 Series sets the new standard for high-end desktops and professional workstations. Together, these solutions represent our vision for empowering creators, gamers, and professionals with the performance and efficiency to push boundaries and drive creativity.”
New devices coming soon
AMD also introduced the Ryzen Threadripper Pro 9000 WX-series and Ryzen Threadripper 9000 series processors. The top of the stack model, the Ryzen Threadripper PRO 9995WX boasts of 96 cores, and is built for visual effects, simulations and developing AI models. The Ryzen Threadripper 9000 offers up to 64 cores and is aimed at content creators as well as enthusiasts, to provide a workstation-grade computing experience. These processors are expected to be available on Dell, HP and Lenovo devices among others, later in the year, with the processors available from retailers in July 2025. At the keynote, the new Asus Expert P Series Copilot+ PCs were also introduced powered by the Ryzen AI Pro 300 series processors, along with the ThinkStation P8 workstation by Lenovo powered by the Ryzen Threadripper Pro processors.
