CRED, IndusInd Bank roll out RuPay Credit Card with rewards on e-commerce, flights, hotels

CRED has launched the CRED IndusInd Bank RuPay Credit Card, offering rewards across all e-commerce spending and flexible redemption on flights, hotels, and hundreds of merchants.

Cardholders earn points equivalent to 5% on online purchases and 1% on offline transactions, including CRED Scan and Pay.

Points can be redeemed across the CRED ecosystem, including the new flights product powered by ixigo and over 8,00,000 hotels powered by Expedia, as well as 500+ merchants and 2,000+ products on the CRED store.

Kunal Shah, founder of CRED, said the card program aims to provide flexibility and choice, allowing users to earn and redeem points across multiple platforms without restrictions.

Soumitra Sen, Country Head – Consumer Banking & Marketing, IndusInd Bank, highlighted the partnership’s alignment in offering premium experiences and lifestyle benefits to digitally savvy consumers.

Sohini Rajola, Executive Director – Growth, NPCI, noted that RuPay is committed to creating flexible and seamless payment experiences for India’s digital-first users, citing the CRED-IndusInd card as an example of such innovation.

The card features zero joining fees, automatic point application, and a simplified two-minute application process. It targets high-credit-score consumers who are active in online shopping and lifestyle spending.

CRED is a fintech platform serving over 1.5 crore affluent Indians, enabling credit card management, payment tracking, and rewards-based financial progress.
