CUTS International and Israeli Thinktank SIGNAL Group Forge Partnership For Trade & Strategic Affairs
New Delhi, May 21 (KNN) In a major move to strengthen India-Israel relations and contribute to global policy discourse, CUTS International and Israel’s SIGNAL Group have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
This long-term partnership will focus on regional cooperation, civilisational dialogue, and global collaboration.
The MoU was formally signed in a virtual ceremony by Pradeep S. Mehta, Secretary General of CUTS International, and Carice Witte, Executive Director of SIGNAL Group. The alliance marks a key moment in the evolving partnership between India and Israel.
CUTS International, a globally respected policy research and advocacy group based in India, brings over four decades of experience in international trade, regulatory frameworks, and development.
SIGNAL Group, Israel’s leading think tank on international strategic affairs, offers deep expertise in the Indo-Pacific, China, and U.S. foreign policy.
This strategic collaboration aims to produce cutting-edge research, informed policy analysis, capacity-building programs, and high-level networking.
Focus areas include global trade, technology, investment policy, regional security, and strategic affairs—especially in the Indo-Pacific and Middle East, both vital to global power shifts.
“This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to building bridges across cultures and geographies,” said Mehta. Witte echoed the sentiment, stating, “Together, we can promote nuanced understanding and practical cooperation.”
Rooted in the Indian principle of vasudhaiva kutumbakam—the world is one family—and the Jewish concept of achdut ha-kol—the unity of all things—the partnership signifies a fusion of civilisational values with strategic intent.
As CUTS and SIGNAL embark on this journey, they aim to foster peace, prosperity, and informed policymaking in a rapidly changing world.
