She wrote, “It’s only fun in the summer! The rest of the time, we’re all just waiting for summer, and it feels like such a sleepy place.” Esmeralda added, “Now in India, I feel soooo alive!!!! India has opened my eyes to so much. First of all, I’ve fallen in love with a country that’s so diverse, wild, and beautiful. I’ve fallen in love with the culture, the people, and the nature.”

The woman, who has travelled extensively through India in the last few months, said that the country has given her a lot of understanding about herself.  “I’m grateful for everything—most of all, the privilege to be able to travel, live abroad, and explore the world,” said the woman.

The clip garnered the attention of many people. While many were happy for her and wished her more of such wonderful times in the country, Esmeralda took the time to speak of how it wasn’t easy for Indians to travel due to the lack of passport privileges.

“It makes me really sad when my Indian friends get their visa applications rejected and don’t have the same freedom,” said Esmeralda in the comments.

The clip amassed more than 2.5 lakh views on Instagram.
