Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to attend National Science Day celebrations at Gachibowli stadium on February 28

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will be the chief guest at the ‘Indian National Science Day’ being jointly organised by DRDO, Aeronautical society of India and Kalam Institute of Youth Excellence which will be celebrated at Gachibowli Stadium on February 28.

State of the art technologies and systems of defence and aerospace will be exhibited with institutions like DRDL, RCI, CCMB, IICT, MIDHANI, BDL, BEL, HAL, ECIL, academic institutions like IIT Hyderabad, IIIT Hyderabad and various esteemed industries to participate in the event.

National Science day is celebrated to honour the discoveries and scientific excellence of eminent scientist Sir C.V. Raman. Secretary Dept. of Defence (R&D) & Chairman DRDO Samir V. Kamath, AeSI President G. Satheesh Reddy, Director General (MSS), DRDO U. Raja Babu and others will be participating. About 200 exhibition stalls will be providing young minds an opportunity to witness first-hand the technological advancements shaping India’s future, said a press release on Sunday.
