Deion Sanders Jr. sets record straight on Shedeur draft party photo

Shedeur Sanders was carrying around a serious amount of cash while partying in Dallas after his fall to the fifth round in the 2025 NFL Draft on Saturday.

The former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback, who was selected 144th overall by the Cleveland Browns, was gifted $1 million inside of a Louis Vuitton case during his star-studded party at Hyde & Seek, according to his brother, Deion Sanders Jr.

After a viral snapshot of Shedeur holding the money, his brother Deion Jr. disputed a rumor that it was $100,000.

“Let’s tell the correct story now… It was actually a gift that he received…. and it was a million,” Deion Jr. who was at the party, wrote Monday on X.

Deion didn’t say who gave Shedeur the money.

Shedeur, 23, partied until around 2 a.m. with his friends family, including his sister Deiondra Sanders and rappers, Kodak Black, Yung Miami and TrapBoyFreddy, according to Page Six.

Jamaican dancehall singer Shenseea, who’s been linked to Shedeur, was also at the bash.

At one point, Shedeur performed his single, “Perfect Timing.”

Sanders was the second quarterback the Browns selected in the draft after Cleveland added former Oregon standout Dillon Gabriel at No. 94.

In addition to the rookies, the Browns’ quarterback room includes Kenny Pickett and veterans Joe Flacco and Deshaun Watson, who could miss the 2025 season after re-tearing his Achilles.

Shedeur was the Big 12 Conference Offensive Player of the Year as a senior last fall, and he threw a school-record 64 touchdown passes over two seasons at Colorado.

The school retired his jersey earlier this month, along with hybrid star Travis Hunter, whom the Jacksonville Jaguars traded up to acquire with the No. 2 pick.
