At a grand event at the Andaz Hotel in New Delhi, Dell announced an expanded AI PC lineup with new laptops powered by Intel and AMD chips. The devices join a lineup that already has Qualcomm Snapdragon laptop processors. Dell’s lineup now offers a wide spectrum of silicon.

New Delhi: Dell has expanded its AI PC portfolio with new devices powered by Intel and AMD chips. The entire simplified lineup is now easy to understand with a glance, although we will miss the Inspiron series. Dell has introduced Dell Pro and Dell Pro Max laptops powered by Intel and AMD chips, that joins devices powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon that had been introduced earlier. The displays are aimed at protecting eyes, and are suitable with younger viewers, with blue light filters. The devices are aimed at providing more computing power on the edge, and are packed with intelligence, offering superior on-device capabilities. AI is supporting the devices with a wide range of peripherals and a finetuned services portfolio.

Users looking for a future-ready mobile computing platform are spoiled for choice with the Dell devices available with all the major chip manufacturers, Intel, AMD and Qualcomm. The Intel and AMD devices use 50 percent recycled aluminium, with the on-device AI capabilities used to increase the efficiency of the PCs. The Dell Pro devices powered by the Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus processors offer long battery lives and an ‘always on’ experience similar to smartphones. The Dell 5455 is one of the thinnest consumer laptops in the world, and Dell is the leading OEM in the world for commercial laptops.
