Denise Lewis wows in see-through lingerie as Olympic legend named ‘2025 Icon’

The 53-year-old, who won gold in the heptathlon at Sydney 2000 and bronze in Atlanta four years prior, is still in remarkable shape as President of UK Athletics.

Lewis is leading by example in her role as she still harbours the same toned body that won gold Down Under 25 years ago. Partnering with boutique London lingerie and underwear store Coco der Mer London, Lewis got her pose on for the cameras.

Coco der Mer London posted the stunning snaps in collaboration with Lewis on Instagram, the lingerie brand added the caption: “AN ICON, IN OUR ICONS

Lewis’ looks were lauded in the comments section, with one fan saying: “Isn’t she the best.”

A second dubbed her “gorgeous”, a third added: “She looks incredible.” While a fourth commented “Obsessed.”

Speaking on her time donning a raunchy outfit, Lewis told The Telegraph : “At 53 it was my first time in a suspender belt. I felt like a goddess.”

She added: “I’d never done a lingerie shoot. Most of my life I’ve been photographed in sports kit. But Coco really does lean into what I feel and what I’m about, empowering women to be sensual, powerful and strong.

“It’s celebrating my body, because I’ve worked for it. To have a woman over 50 saying, ‘Actually, this is me. This is what I can be,’ is so liberating.

“Hopefully, it encourages more women to feel they are more than the labels attached to them — working woman, mother. You can be these things and not lose the essence of who you are.”
