DHUN Musical Group Hosts Uplifting Fundraising Concert for Siddhivinayak Temple in Toms River

Toms River, NJ – June 7, 2025 – The Siddhivinayak Temple in Toms River was alive with music, devotion, and community spirit as the DHUN Musical Group, USA, held its much-awaited annual fundraising concert, drawing a full house of over 400 attendees for an unforgettable evening.
The event, dedicated to supporting the temple’s initiatives, showcased the DHUN group’s signature blend of musical excellence and community service. With seamless execution and passionate performances, the concert reaffirmed DHUN’s growing reputation as a cultural cornerstone within the Indian-American community.

Founded by Rajeev Singh, the DHUN Musical Group is known for promoting emerging talent while supporting charitable causes. This year’s concert was no exception, featuring a carefully curated lineup of seasoned performers and promising newcomers, all performing with a live orchestra led by Sekhar Das.
The concert was graced by the presence of Binaya Srikanta Pradhan, Consul General at the Indian Consulate in New York, who expressed his appreciation for the evening’s performances. Notable community leaders in attendance included FIA President Saurin Parikh, BJANA President Sanjeev Singh, IFMP President Deepak Chainani, and members of their respective executive committees.
The evening opened with an auspicious recitation of shlokas by children from the temple’s Gurukul, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere. The event was officially inaugurated by Dr. Avinash Gupta, Chairman of the Temple, and Dr. Geeta Gupta, Chief Trustee.
Anubha Raj, who emceed the evening, brought vibrant energy and engagement, connecting the audience to each performance with her charismatic presence.

The DHUN ensemble — featuring Amrisha, Sandeep, Sudhaker, Bhavisha, Vasanti, Srividhya, Vidyut, and Rajeev Singh — delivered a medley of soulful and high-energy musical numbers. The event also introduced five emerging artists—Dheeraj, Teju, Keya, Ojas, and Thanmayee—who received enthusiastic support from the audience during their debut performances.
The concert also included a dinner generously sponsored by Aarzu, which added a warm and communal touch to the evening.
In their closing remarks, both Dr. Avinash Gupta and Rajeev Singh extended heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers, committee members, and supporters who helped make the evening a resounding success.
The event concluded on a high note, leaving attendees inspired and energized by an evening that celebrated music, unity, and shared purpose.
