Diego Ferreiro joins López-Ibor DPM as a Partner

López-Ibor DPM Abogados has announced a significant addition to its corporate team with the appointment of Diego Ferreiro as a partner in its commercial law practice. His arrival is expected to enhance the firm’s positioning in corporate and financial operations, particularly in the energy sector, where Ferreiro is widely recognized for his expertise.

Ferreiro joins the firm led by Carlos Trénor (pictured right), from Tribeca Abogados, where he had been a corporate partner since 2016. His career spans prominent international firms such as Mazars, KPMG Abogados, and Irwin Mitchell, as well as a tenure as Head of Legal Advisory at Uriel Inversiones, a leading business group.

With a strong background in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate restructuring, and project finance, Ferreiro’s expertise will bolster López-Ibor DPM’s capabilities in high-value strategic transactions across key industries, with a particular emphasis on energy-related deals.

He holds a Law degree from Colegio Universitario San Pablo CEU and a Master’s in Corporate Legal Advisory from IE Business School. Additionally, he has completed the Financial Analysis for Non-Financial Managers Programme at INSEAD and holds the Cescom® Compliance Certification, an internationally recognized accreditation by IFCA member associations.
