Digital Connexion unveils Chennai’s first Nvidia DGX-ready data centre for AI workloads
Digital Connexion, a data center services provider, has announced that its MAA10 facility in Ambattur, Chennai, is now officially recognised as part of the Nvidia DGX-Ready Data Centre program.
MAA10 is specifically designed to manage heavy Artificial Intelligence (AI) workloads and GPU-based computing, the company said in a statement. It is equipped with both air and liquid cooling systems to handle next-generation high-density servers. Built to international standards, it follows ASHRAE W2 guidelines, ensuring reliable and efficient cooling even when systems generate high levels of heat.
The facility also features a robust N+2C power system, which offers extra backup power to reduce downtime—something crucial for companies relying on large-scale AI systems.
Digital Connexion is a joint venture between Brookfield Asset Management, Reliance Industries, and Digital Realty.
According to Digital Connexion CEO C R Srinivasan, the rise of AI across Indian industries means data handling capacity must also scale up. “Our facility is designed to manage large-scale AI data efficiently, helping businesses innovate faster,” he said.
The MAA10 data center is now part of PlatformDIGITAL, a global network of AI-optimised data centers operated by Digital Realty. A recent report predicts that cities like Delhi could generate over 12,000 exabytes of data by the end of 2025, making such infrastructure crucial for data management.
