1) What does being a part of the edition of 11th Entertainers Connect mean to you, and how do you see it levelling up your work and boosting your presence in the industry?

I’m really excited about this opportunity. I believe this experience will be invaluable for my career development. Entertainers Connect is the perfect platform to network with industry professionals and grow my audience even further. It’s a great chance to showcase my work and build deeper connections in the entertainment world.

2) What inspired you to choose this path as your profession? And now that you’ve spent time in the industry, what shifts or positive differences have you witnessed over time?

To be honest, nobody inspired me directly. It was my own passion for music that led me here. Music has always been my soul-searcher, and I knew from the start that this was the industry I wanted to be a part of. Over the years, the rise of social media platforms has been a game changer. It’s opened new avenues for artists to connect with their audiences, market their talent, and build their own communities. It’s made the world of music more accessible, allowing us to showcase our work to a much larger, global audience.

3) How do you stay relevant and innovative in such a dynamic and evolving entertainment industry?

I keep a close eye on the latest trends in music and entertainment. It’s crucial to stay in sync with what the audience is enjoying at the moment. I attend meetings, seek out opportunities, and always focus on building meaningful relationships within the industry. Networking, continuous learning, and understanding my audience are key elements in sustaining my DJ career in the long term.

4) What’s next for you? Are there any specific projects or collaborations you’re excited about?

I have some exciting projects and collaborations lined up! I can’t wait to share them with my fans and the world. It’s a mix of new music releases and international partnerships that I’m really looking forward to.

5) What’s your go-to trick for winning over a tough crowd? Do you have a mantra or phrase that you say to yourself before every performance?

Reading the crowd and creating the right atmosphere is key. I thrive on making people move and feel happy—seeing people dance to my tunes is the ultimate reward. As for a mantra, I always tell myself, ‘It’s Showtime & I AM READY TO ROCK.’ That keeps me pumped and focused every time I step behind the console.

6) What advice or message would you give to aspiring artists?

My advice would be to stay open to everything at the start. Experiment with different types of music to shape your unique sound. Don’t be disheartened by rejection, and always remain humble. This journey requires hard work and determination, and the sooner you understand that, the better. Follow your passion and love what you do—that’s what will sustain you in this industry.

DJ Sway continues to conquer the world with her electrifying performances, having already completed over 3300 shows internationally and made official music for major platforms like 9XM, Times Music, and Eros.
