Doechii’s 2025 Met Gala Look Includes a Louis Vuitton Face Tattoo

2025 has been Doechii’s year, so of course we’ve been counting down the days until her Met Gala debut. Although she just broke out into the scene, it’s no surprise Doechii’s first Met Gala ensemble is already light years ahead of everyone else’s. Not to mention, this year’s theme “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” is all about menswear and meticulous tailoring—which is something the Thom Browne muse knows how to nail. The stage is set, and leave it to a newcomer like Doechii to show the Met Gala vets how it’s done.

Before she even arrived, we already knew Doechii’s 2025 Met Gala outfit would be one of the most jaw-dropping looks of the night. Recently, we’ve seen her pull off everything from a nipple-baring naked dress at the Billboard Women in Music Red Carpet to tons of effortlessly chic off-duty looks. Not only has she established herself as an artist to watch, Doechii has also earned a reputation for being the most fashionable guest at any given event. So, on fashion’s biggest night—we expected nothing less than excellence from the Gen Z star. (And spoiler alert, she delivered just that.)

Doechii arrived to the Met wearing a Louis Vuitton-monogrammed white suit and mary janes—complete with a face tattoo to complete the look. We’ve seen her champion a tailored ensemble before, but this Louis Vuitton outfit is definitely debut-worthy. And since tonight’s dress code is “Tailored For You,” we expected nothing less than an immaculately-fitted two-piece.

In addition to being incredibly on-theme, Doechii’s outfit also completely contrasts the “quiet luxury” aesthetic we’ve been seeing everywhere recently. Not only is her outfit dripping in the Louis Vuitton logo, it’s also a perfect representation of the glamour that dandiness proudly celebrates—all the way down to accessorizing with a cigar.
