Eagle-eyed football fans spotted a very rude X-rated mistake during Genoa’s kit launch.
The Serie A mainstays were unveiling their new kit for the season, when a massive overlook led to ridicule online. The kit, which was a nod to their English past, featured four models proudly wearing the St George’s Cross inspired kit.
However, one of the models, who had been put in shorts, had his leg tattoos on display – and fans were quick to spot some X-rated ink. On his right leg the model had a tattoo of two people, erm, doing the deed.
“What’s going on with his leg tattoo,” one fan joked. While a second replied: “Odd tattoo on the leg but okay…”
“How did the media team not catch that,” a third questioned. As a fourth said: “Interesting leg tattoo, that…”

And another added: “Interesting kit by Genoa (the tattoo on his leg is even crazier)!”
The kit was launched alongside a video, which was filmed in London to celebrate the club’s English roots. Genoa was founded by as a cricket and football club by English sailors in 1893.
The video’s narration says: “In 1983, a bunch of English lads rocked up with a cricket bat and a football, changing the game forever.

“Born by the port, shaped by the sea, carried by Genovese pride, they cross-walked straight onto the pitch.”
The St George’s Cross is also a symbol of the city of Genoa, and appears both on the city’s coat of arms and Genoa CFC’s badge.
It’s the second time in under 12 months Genoa have made headlines for kit launches after they they unveiled an all-black third kit in November last year through a launch video that featured WWE legend The Undertaker.
