Egypt, World Bank discuss cooperation in human development

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar discussed with the World Bank’s regional director for Egypt, Yemen, and Djibouti, Stefan Gimbert, developing the health system in Egypt and cooperation in the field of human development.

Abdel-Ghaffar emphasized the significance of cooperation between the Ministry of Health and Population and the Word Bank in capacity-building programs.

The meeting also addressed cooperation in the areas of family planning and primary health care.

Gimbert praised cooperation between the bank and Egypt in the health sector.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the annual forum of the Universal Health Insurance Authority.
