Jetts Fitness, the gym franchise known for its no lock-in contracts, flexible access and value-for-money membership options, is expanding into India via its Jetts Fitness Australia business.

With India’s fitness industry growing, this expansion marks a milestone in Jetts’ international franchise growth.

The Jetts India master franchisees are Nishant Singh, Ashish Malik and Rahul Raghuvanshi who have extensive experience in fitness, franchising and business operations and multiple launches are planned across key cities.

Clubs will include strength, cardio and free weight zones, a dedicated stretching zone, functional training areas, indoor cycling studios, group classes and recovery facilities.

Elaine Jobson, CEO of Jetts Fitness Australia, says: “India represents a tremendous opportunity for us. With increasing awareness of health and fitness, our model of convenience and accessibility aligns perfectly with the lifestyle of today’s consumers.

“Our master franchisee team in India have ambitious plans for expansion through franchising and are committed to making high-quality fitness more accessible, as well as becoming India’s most loved training gym,” she concluded.

Jetts Fitness Australia has also told HCM it’s outlining an aggressive five-year international expansion plan, targeting key markets across the Americas, Europe and Southeast Asia and focusing on strategic partnerships.

Jobson led an MBO of the Jetts Fitness franchise business from parent company Fitness and Lifestyle Group (FLG) in 2022.

The deal saw her take control of 129 franchised clubs in Australia, as well as international franchise businesses in the UK and the Netherlands.

FLG retained full ownership of its Jetts Fitness brand and operations in New Zealand, Vietnam and Thailand.

The brand currently has 259 gyms worldwide, 128 in Australia, 53 in New Zealand, 51 in Thailand, 23 in the UK and four in the Netherlands.
