Elie Saab, the luxury fashion house behind some of Hollywood’s most memorable red carpet looks, is bringing its signature glamour to H&M at a fraction of its usual price.

The Lebanese designer, whose creations have been worn by Beyoncé, Zendaya, Angelina Jolie, Taylor Swift and Jennifer Lopez, has teamed up with the Swedish retailer on a new collection of eveningwear, tailored separates and accessories, with prices starting at $39.99.

While the fashion house’s couture creations can cost tens of thousands of dollars, its new H&M collaboration offers a considerably more accessible entry point into the brand. The 55-piece collection includes embellished gowns, sequined blazers, lace separates, faux-fur outerwear, footwear and jewelry, incorporating Saab’s signature embroidery and intricate detailing.

Among the standout pieces are a $269 sequined bandeau dress, a $219 fluffy jacket and a $429 embellished bandeau dress. More affordable offerings include $89.99 blouses and a $39.99 floral choker. The collection also features menswear, handbags and tailored evening jackets.

Elie Saab for H&M

Saab has been a red carpet fixture for decades, perhaps most famously dressing Halle Berry for her historic Best Actress win at the 2002 Academy Awards. Berry accepted her Oscar for “Monster’s Ball” in a burgundy gown featuring a sheer, floral-embroidered bodice, a look that helped catapult the then-emerging designer to international recognition. More than two decades later, Berry revisited the dress on the runway at Saab’s 2024 anniversary celebration in Riyadh.

The designer’s celebrity following has continued well into 2026. In September, Beyoncé wore a sheer black ballgown from Saab’s fall 2026 couture collection to the New York premiere of Jay-Z’s HBO Max docuseries “Jay-Z in 8.” Zendaya, meanwhile, stepped out in a black dress from his fall 2026 collection during a New York outing with Tom Holland. Angelina Jolie has also worn the designer to the Oscars, including a shimmering silver gown at the 2014 ceremony.

Founded in Beirut in 1982, Saab initially gained recognition for his bridal designs before becoming one of the first international members of France’s prestigious Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture. The designer has since expanded his namesake label into ready-to-wear and accessories while maintaining a strong presence on Hollywood red carpets.

“We are thrilled to announce this landmark collaboration with Elie Saab,” Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M’s creative advisor and head of design womenswear, said in a statement. “Mr Saab is a designer we have always respected – the journey from master of bridalwear in Beirut to the centre of Paris fashion is an amazing, rich story and we are so excited to be exploring his world.”

The collaboration follows H&M’s longstanding tradition of bringing luxury designers to the mass market, with previous partnerships including Versace, Balmain and Maison Margiela.

The Elie Saab x H&M collection is now available online and in select stores.
