Ground Zero Box Office Collection Day 3: Emraan Hashmi’s new Bollywood movie, Ground Zero, had released on the big screen on 25 April 25.
Even though it registered a slow start in earnings on the day of releases, its revenue in the subsequent days has been impressive. During the first weekend, it made a decent collection.
According to industry tracker sacnilk.com, on Sunday, the movie could earn an estimated amount of Rs 1.67 crore. With this, in India, it earned the Rs 4.72 crore.
The film managed to record a 65.22 per cent increase in occupancy. According to Sacnilk, Ground Zero saw an overall Hindi occupancy of 17.07 per cent on Sunday.
The film’s maximum occupancy was seen in Chennai (70%), followed by Kolkata (25%), Bengaluru (20.33%), Pune (19.67%) and Mumbai (18.33%).
The Emraan Hashmi-starrer earned Rs 3.75 crore gross at the worldwide box office until Saturday. Ground Zero has earned a gross of Rs 3.65 crore in India. Ground Zero has registered Rs 3.05 crore net in India.
Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan, and Ananya Panday’s latest historical drama had closed its opening weekend by minting double digits on its third day. On first Sunday, the Akshay Kumar film saw a surge in its collections. As per Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 12.25 crores and the film’s total net India collection stood at Rs 29.75 crores.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared on X, “The growth on Saturday, followed by a jump on Sunday – especially in comparison to the #GoodFriday holiday – has placed #KesariChapter2 in a much better position, considering its ordinary start on Friday morning. While multiplexes and premium screens in #Mumbai, #Delhi, #NCR, #Bengaluru and #Pune were the best-performing centres, several key centres like #Kolkata, #Hyderabad, #Ahmedabad, #Lucknow, #Bhopal and #Chandigarh witnessed marked improvement on Sunday.
So far, it has earned a total collection of Rs 57.15 crore.
Mythri Movie Makers, the production house backing Jaat, had shared on social media that the film earned Rs 32.20 crore gross in its first three days in India. According to trade insiders, the film’s overseas collections ranged around Rs 3 crore. The film’s worldwide collections stood at Rs 35 crore after three days.
Sunny Deol’s Jaat is now getting closer to the Rs 85 crore mark at the box office. On day 17, the film earned Rs 1.25 crore, according to a Sacnilk report.
