Ennismore’s Hyde lifestyle brand makes Australia debut

Ennismore has introduced its lifestyle brand Hyde to Australia, with a new hotel in Melbourne.

The property in Melbourne’s central business district (CBD) will be reimagined as Hyde Melbourne Place.

It was originally designed by local architecture firm Kennedy Nolan.

Jodi Brown will lead operations at Hyde Melbourne Place. Brown has more than 14 years of hospitality experience across various hotels and resorts in the region.

Hyde Melbourne Place general manager Jodi Brown said: “Melbourne’s creative spirit, bold energy, and cultural richness make it the perfect setting for Hyde’s Australian debut.

“With its bohemian aesthetic, playful spirit, and deep roots in music and design, Hyde Melbourne Place will offer guests more than just a stay, it will be a full sensory experience.

“We can’t wait to reveal what’s coming, including vibrant spaces, live music moments, and design that truly speaks to the heart of Melbourne’s artistic community.”

This hotel is part of Ennismore’s Dis-loyalty membership programme.

It is one of the Australian openings planned by Ennismore for this year, namely Hyde Perth, Mondrian Gold Coast, and 25hours Hotel Sydney The Olympia.

The Melbourne location extends the Hyde brand’s international footprint, which already includes cities such as Miami, Dubai, London, and Johannesburg.

In January this year, Ennismore unveiled its expansion strategy, with plans to launch over 20 hotels and more than 35 food and beverage (F&B) destinations globally.
