Enugu: Nsukka Zone wins 2025 Governor Mbah secondary schools sports

Secondary schools from Nsukka education zone, Sunday, emerged the overall winners of the Governor Peter Ndubisi Mbah Secondary Schools Sports 2025.

The zone won with 12 Gold, 12 Silver and 10 Bronze medals.

The second runners up, Udi Zone, came second with 8 Gold, 5 Silver and 4 Bronze, while Awgu Zone is placed third with 5 Gold, 9 Silver and 3 Bronze.

Enugu came fourth with 4 Gold, 5 Silver and 7 Bronze; Agbani Zone 5th position with 2 Gold, 3 Silver and 4 Bronze, while Obollo Afor Zone took the rear position with 1 Silver and 3 Bronze medals.

For emerging overall winners, Nsukka Zone won a prize money of N1 million from the state government; Udi Zone smiled home with N500.000, while Awgu Zone went home with cash prize of N300.000.

The host zone, Enugu, won the trophy in the boys football by beating their opponents, Nsukka Zone by 2- 0.
