On April 14, 2025, Beijing EO Technology Co.,Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “EqualOcean”), officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Câmara de Comércio de Desenvolvimento Internacional Brasil-China (CCDIBC).

Based on the principles of equality, mutual consent, and joint development, both parties will work together to support Chinese enterprises expanding into Brazil and promote deeper cooperation between China and Brazil in trade, investment, technology, and culture. This agreement marks a new stage in China-Brazil economic collaboration and provides strong support for Chinese companies pursuing global expansion.

Opportunities and Challenges for Chinese Companies in Brazil

With China’s sustained economic growth and advancing globalization strategy, more and more Chinese companies are targeting overseas markets. As Brazil’s largest export destination, import source, investment partner, and its first trade partner with over USD 100 billion in exports, China holds a vital role in Brazil’s economic landscape. In 2023, Brazil’s exports to China reached USD 105.75 billion, making China the first country to exceed USD 100 billion in annual exports from Brazil. This positions Brazil as a key destination for Chinese companies going global.

However, Brazil’s complex and diverse market presents numerous challenges. Regulatory frameworks, cultural differences, and competitive market dynamics often hinder market entry. Adapting quickly and achieving local operations remain urgent tasks for Chinese enterprises in Brazil.
