The European Music Managers Alliance (EMMA) has launched a new partnership with music distribution service DistroKid.
Founded more than a decade ago, DistroKid is used by four million artists and music creators across the world for fast-track delivery of audio and video to more than 150 digital stores and streaming platforms.
The company also provides musicians, managers and record labels with online tools and services.
The partnership will officially start at the Reeperbahn Festival, where Distrokid will be official sponsors for EMMA’s reception for music managers at Hamburg’s East Hotel Thursday, September 18 from 5-6pm. The reception is open for all Reeperbahn attendees.
Following this, DistroKid have committed to support European managers and their creative clients by collaborating with EMMA on a series of online workshops and masterclasses for in early 2026. Details of these will be announced to EMMA members in coming months.
Jess Partridge, executive director, EMMA, said: “Alongside our advocacy work on behalf of thousands of European music managers, EMMA aims to support our members by building partnerships with the businesses and services most relevant to their clients. DistroKid is already used by millions of artists and music creators around the world, and has helped level the playing field of music distribution. It’s an incredibly powerful tool.
“We are delighted that the team is sponsoring our Reeperbahn reception and looking forward to announcing a series of workshops in the coming months.”
