For three incredible nights, the Hollywood Bowl is bringing to life the work of one of Hollywood’s finest. Maestro of the Movies: Celebrating the Music of John Williams will take place on August 22, 23, and 24th. The performance is a salute to the work of the incredible composer and will span the breadth and depth of his oeuvre, complete with gorgeous clips from the scored films playing on the Hollywood Bowl’s humongous screens. We honestly feel like you haven’t lived until you’ve heard John Williams performed live by the Los Angeles Philharmonic—and add to that stunning, high-definition visuals from the classic movies themselves… Well, that’s a true treat for any film lover among us.

Featuring some of the biggest hits and beloved classics of the silver screen, this all-Williams program also includes a spectacular selection of film clips—from Star Wars and Indiana Jones to Superman and Dear Basketball (in its entirety!)—on the Bowl’s big screens.
