FARGO – The Fargo-Moorhead Science Museum has announced plans for its future museum to be built in the south Fargo Urban Plains Development, southwest of Scheels Arena.
A land donation from Brandt Holdings Company will allow the project to move forward with a planned 63,500 square foot museum located at the intersection of Seter Parkway and 31st Ave S.
According to the Fargo-Moorhead Science Museum board, with confirmation of the future museum and the launch of a $70-million capital fundraising campaign, the plan is to open the museum in early 2027.
“We are overjoyed to finally be able to share the location of the future museum at Urban Plains,” Executive Director Josey Balenger said. “We are humbled and thankful to Brandt Holdings for this incredible gift. This anchors the foundation for the success of the Fargo-Moorhead Science Museum.”
