Positioned as India’s largest and most significant tourism policy dialogue post-pandemic, the Conclave will bring together senior government officials, state leaders, and captains of industry to create a united tourism vision for India@2047.

“This Conclave is more than an event—it’s a national movement,” said Ajay Prakash, Vice Chair, FAITH. “We are laying the foundation for a USD 3 trillion tourism economy, targeting 100 million foreign arrivals and 20 billion domestic visits by 2047.”

Chaired by Padma Ajeet Bajaj, Vice Chair, and Rajiv Mehra, FAITH General Secretary and Conclave Co-Chair, the event is expected to be a tipping point for deep-rooted policy reforms and strategic realignment across the tourism sector.

Key objectives include:

-Establishing India among the top 5 global tourism economies

-Declaring tourism a concurrent subject in the Constitution

-Granting tourism export industry status

-Creating a country-specific inbound strategy

-Rationalising GST across tourism segments

-Driving Centre–State–Industry cohesion

The Conclave also puts the spotlight on rural, wellness, and spiritual tourism circuits, destination-specific infrastructure, and building a consistent India brand across global markets.

Confirmed dignitaries include:

-Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Hon’ble Union Minister for Tourism

-Jyotiraditya Scindia, Hon’ble Minister for DONER

-Rohan Khaunte, Hon’ble Tourism Minister of Goa

Echoing the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s G20 sentiment—“Terrorism divides, but tourism unites”—this conclave positions tourism as a unifier for India’s economy, society, and soft power.
