Feintool commits 1.69 lakh sq ft at LO-GOI Group’s Chakan Industrial and Logistics Estate in Pune

Bengaluru: Swiss automotive technology leader Feintool has committed up to 169,000 sq ft of gross leasable area (GLA) at the LO-GOI Group–managed Chakan Industrial and Logistics Estate in Pune, becoming the first tenant for the La Caisse–LO-GOI partnership’s flagship development in India.

The facility, which will be delivered in two phases, will serve as Feintool’s first manufacturing unit in the country and is expected to cater to its growing customer base in the automotive and advanced industrial sectors.

The Chakan Industrial and Logistics Estate, spread across 145 acres with a planned development potential of 3.6 million sq ft, is located in one of India’s fastest-growing automotive and industrial hubs. The project, which has no association with ESR Group or LOGOS Property Group, is being developed and managed by the LO-GOI Group as part of its logistics venture in India with La Caisse (formerly CDPQ).

Industry experts view Feintool’s entry as a significant milestone for both the estate and the broader Indian automotive supply chain. Pune’s Chakan region has long been a magnet for global and domestic manufacturers due to its proximity to major automakers, suppliers, and a robust distribution network. By committing to a large-scale manufacturing facility, Feintool signals its long-term commitment to tapping India’s rapidly evolving automotive market, which is seeing surging demand in both traditional and electric vehicle segments.
