Fire breaks out at State Bank of India building at Patny in Secunderbad-Telangana Today

The officials are yet to ascertain the exact reason that led to the fire in the building

Hyderabad: A fire broke out at a State Bank of India building at Patny in Secunderabad on Sunday evening.

According to reports, the fire broke out in the home loan and insurance section located on the fourth floor of the building housing the State Bank of India.

On information, the Fire Department officials reached the spot and have started a fire fighting operation. In all seven fire tenders from different fire stations brought the blaze under control.

The HMWS&SB water tankers supplied water to the fire tenders. One person was present in the office when the fire broke out and he rushed out of the premises.

The officials are yet to ascertain the exact reason that led to the fire in the building. The local police and DRF teams assisted the fire personnel.

Senior officials of the police, fire department and State Bank of India visited the place and inspected the premises.
